There has been a review of the Area Structure. There are now 4 Areas instead (namely North, South, East and West)

This year, 2010, is the centennial year of Singapore Scouting. Thus, there will be commemorative scarf and badge produced of which ALL scouts are expected to don, in replacement of the national scarf, just for this year

There will be a dinner to commemorate the occasion at Suntec City on 27 February 2010 where the Guest-of-honour will be SM Goh. Tickets are going for $100 per pax.

Other events include the Scout Rally on 25 or 29 May at Hwa Chong Institution, the official opening of the Scout Discovery Centre in August/September as well as the Singapore Jamboree in Nov/Dec

Briefing for Job week will conducted on 20 February 2010 (Sat). There will be an Area Meeting conducted by our incoming Area Commissioner, Mr. Ho Chee Heng on the same date. The coincidence of date is on purpose to reduce your trips down to the HQ

Job Week will be launched on 9 March 2010

Chingay Procession will be held on 19 February 2010 and there is a special discount for Scouts

With regards to the Singapore Jamboree, we will be taking Sub Camp East, to be headed by Tampines District and supported by our district and Bedok District.
